This is a Radialoy 410, Super Sensitive, made in 1967! The serial number is 489816 and the stamp inside indicates that it was made in 1967. The shell is so called Radialoy, which is said to be made of aluminum with chrome plating. The hoop is an original steel pressed hoop 10 tension. It has a light high tone and a solid grain with softness, and a perfect balance between a sense of loss and a bulging midrange that is typical of RADIC. This snare has a pleasantly tight feel that is typical of a bright, sharp, super-sensitive snare. The condition is more than good enough, with very little chipping of the plating and clean metal parts. It is in such good condition that it is hard to believe that it is a 60+ year old snare. The snappy also appears to be original. The head is a recent one made by LUDWIG. It is in good enough condition to be used with confidence.
