In terms of tone, it features the tried-and-tested EMG duo comprising an EMG 85 on the neck and an EMG 81 at the bridge, which is particularly well-suited to powerful rhythm parts, singing leads and high gain headroom. The specification is rounded off by an Ibanez Gibraltar Standard III bridge and Gotoh MG-T locking tuners, which ensure reliable tuning stability even during intense playing.
