Informazioni su questo annuncio
This 1973 Fender Stratocaster is in fantastic shape. Belonging to a renowned Sydney guitar luthier, this vintage 1973 Strat has received all the care and preventative maintenance a guitar could want. This results in a super clean, well set up, great playing, great sounding vintage Strat. The guitar sports the original grey backed Fender pickups, at some point they were swapped out at one stage for Kinmans. The originals always stayed with the instrument, and have been reinstalled for sale. Several fresh solder joints confirm this. One visible date under the middle tone pot gives us a date reading of 49th week of 1972 - closely followed by a neck production date of January 1973. The original 1973 dated pickups are well balanced, with slightly higher 5.74k output at the bridge. At 3.55kg, or 7.8lbs, this instrument is relatively light - substantially lighter than many 1970s instruments we’ve seen. This guitar sports an extremely clean, almost undetectable refret with replacement .10” (2.7mm) medium jumbo frets. They have some light wear in the lower registers - approx. 80% left of their playing life left. The guitar sports aftermarket Fender stamped bridge plate and saddles from the early 1980s. The tremolo block is also made of chrome plated brass. These units were an upgrade of the original ‘pot cast’ Fender saddles and are extremely rare. How cool! This is one of nicest early 1970s Strat we have ever seen. A fantastic player, and a very clean example. Comes with an after market Fender tweed case.______________________________Fretboard Jungle is an independent guitar store specializing in vintage, rare and collectable guitars.In-store pricing may vary.
