Up for sale, a 1990s MESA/Boogie Revolver 1x12” Rotating Speaker Cabinet in near-mint, 100% original condition and in perfect working order, complete with original footswitch, Accelerator pedal, slip cover, and owner’s manual. Featuring a proprietary rotary mechanism and designed to deliver Leslie-style swirling, natural chorusing sounds with Mesa’s modern construction and stability, the Revolver is a rugged, exceedingly user-friendly unit, produced in sparingly limited quantities for just a few years in the ‘90s.

Instead of a Leslie-style stationary speaker/rotating baffle combo, the Revolver features a unique design wherein an internal speaker cabinet actually rotates horizontally within the external enclosure, enabling the high end clarity, punch, and true tonality of the input amplifier to be preserved in a way that the standard Leslie design does not. The Accelerator speed control expression pedal enables precise and on-the-fly changes, and further flexibility comes via the Slow Speed Fine Tune Control, which opens up a wide range of chorusing effects when the unit is in Slow Speed mode, and also allows the Revolver to more easily be matched to song tempo. The external cabinet is designed for robust projection, and the Revolver is equally well-suited for stage and studio usage, rated at 90 watts power handling, with 8 ohms impedance.

This is a well-kept example, with sparingly little wear on the black tolex. The original casters, footswitch, Accelerator expression pedal, cables, slip cover, and owner’s manual are included.
