Fender Japan Stratocaster ST-33R (1980s) – Rare Medium Scale Model
This is a Fender Japan Stratocaster ST-33R from the 1980s, featuring some unique specifications not commonly found on standard Strat models.
It comes with a basswood body, a one-piece maple neck, and a rosewood fingerboard.
What makes this model especially rare is its medium scale length combined with a synchronized tremolo bridge—an uncommon and sought-after combination.
There is a visible crack in the finish on the back of the neck, but it does not extend deeply into the wood. Currently, it does not affect playability.
The neck is straight, and the frets have plenty of life left with no buzzing or dead spots.
