Gibson Custom Shop Firebird V Electric Guitar - 2006

Hello!

I'm selling my 2006 Custom Shop Firebird V. It's in very good condition and was recently setup and had the frets dressed by master luthier David Sole of Leno Guitars in the Barcelona area. It is used but never heavily played - overall cosmetically there are some dings here and there and some other marks, but for a 20 year old guitar I would say cometically it looks very good.

Playing wise it has been setup great - the neck is straight, the truss rod and tuner works, and there are no functional issues at all.

The guitar weighs 3.95 Kilo, and has a slightly beefier neck, closer to a 59 Les Paul than a 60.

The nut width is 1 11/16"

This actual guitar was featured in the Tone Quest Report Magazine, where they replaced the Gibson stock pickups for Lollar P-90's. This was a great choice - the guitar sounds amazing, with the Lollar pickups, which are much closer in sound to the vintage mini humbuckers that came on the original Firebirds built in the 1960's.

The guitar has the Lollar Pickups installed, as featured in the magazine article. The original Gibson pickups are not included (I never had them).

The case is very solid and heavy duty, with a combination lock only - I do not have a key for the case.

Recent estimates I got for fully insured shipping to Vienna ranged from 175 Euros for SEUR to 330 Euro for UPS.

Of course the guitar is also available for inspection and pickup here in person in Barcelona Spain.
