The Yamaha PortaSound PSS-570 is a compact but powerful FM synthesizer from 1987. Made in Japan, this unit blends a fun, accessible interface with a surprisingly deep 2-operator FM engine.

The PSS-570 features 49 mini keys, 21 editable presets, and a built-in PCM drum machine with 32 drum and percussion sounds. What sets it apart is the onboard FM synthesis section, which lets you sculpt your own sounds by adjusting waveforms, spectra, modulation, and envelope (attack/decay) settings. You can also apply effects like sustain, vibrato, duo mode, and stereo symphony to shape the sound even further.

Excellent working and cosmetic condition. Fully cleaned and serviced (mechanics and electronics).
Note: the cap for the POWER ON/OFF switch is missing, but the switch itself works perfectly.
