This Magnatone Mark III was made in the USA in 1957. These are rare and unusual and sound great. This one has its original blond finish and is in nice shape with normal play wear. The pickup appears to be a Magnatone lap steel pickup from the same period as the guitar. Our best guess is the original pickup died and the owner replaced it with this one. It sounds great. The pots are also changed but the guitar is otherwise original. It has been pro-setup in our store and comes with a non original case.
