Why does this Strat sound so good? Because it’s a Pignose, that’s why! Just like their “Legendary” amps, this guitar delivers! If you need a Stratocaster style guitar but want something a little different, this one’s for you! The guitar is in very good to excellent condition. Only shows a few minor blemishes. The pickups are completely noiseless and sound fantastic! The body is Alder and the neck is a maple C shape w/ Rosewood finger board. All of the electronics, knobs (snout) and toggle function perfectly. It plays very very well! These guitars were produced in limited quantity in the late ‘90’s. They were distributed through a Roadshow promotion at a few select Costco stores throughout the U.S. (2 weeks at each location). They were intended to serve as a market test for Pignose. The idea was to produce a guitar that could compete w/ the Squires and Epiphones of the day. They are a cool little curiosity that never “officially“ went into production. If you elect to purchase this one, trust me, you will not be disappointed.
