This is one of two listings. This Rat features a OP07 op amp. Listing 1 features NOS lm308 op amp. Built on a v1 rat board with tantalum caps like the originals. Power jack for modern convenience.
The biggest difference is the lm can sag when the distortion is maxed or close to it this is some of the charm of the older units some people hate this about them it’s really not a big deal unless you play at max distortion heavy on the bass side and are a hard string hitter I do feel these are slightly fuzzier or you could say the op07 are slightly brighter or clearer. They both sound great and 100% a RAT.
