Yamaha G-230 1970s-1980s - Natural

Vintage Guitar Yamaha G-230 is a pretty rare version of Yamaha acoustic family.

Made in Taiwan circa 1970s, the vintage Yamaha G 230 delivers an excellent sound with warm bass and clear trebles (sound sample attached)

The sound board is made of Cedar which attenuates the medium low frequencies and delivers an immediate attack and a not indifferent warmth to the sound.

Solid mahogany back and side which is tending to dampen the bass accentuated by the sound board, making the guitar very balanced.

The neck is made of Mahogany and Indian Rosewood make it very smooth fingering.

The bridge is made of Rosewood which is very sturdy, solid and excellent transfer the sound from strings to soundboard.

Neck: nyatoh 6 strings

Headstock classical.

Thread decoration at the rim and mosaic on the hole

Dimension:

Total length: 102cm x 49cm

Body width: 37cm x depth 10cm, 52mm full size at nut

Good action: about 4mm and 3.5mm measured from 12th fret at 6th and 1st E.

Serial number 10216330 printed on the neck inside of sound hole
