ISTANBUL MEHMET SET OUT TO DUPLICATE THAT INIMITABLE TONE AND THEY CERTAINLY DID A SPECTACULAR JOB - ALL WITH THE HELP AND BLESSING OF TONY'S WIFE, COLLEEN WILLIAMS.

The time and effort put into this 18” is immediately apparent with the first strike.
Weighing in at a glorious and THIN 1266 grams - this beauty plays like a glorious THIN Dark Crash or Thin Light Ride - hell it’s so smooth it almost plays itself.
Amazing semi-complex, overall SMOOTH, wonderfully dark sounding tone that marries organic with clean.
The tone hints of darkness and is still glowingly warm and also undeniably SMOOTH. The stick attack on the ride is prominent but subtle, it's very evenly balanced - especially for an 18”. Light and smooth.
One of the nicest sounding most versatile cymbals on the market.
Dark. Crashable. Ride-able. Smooth. And all with a fantastic hand hammered subtle complexity.
It's an incredible tribute and testament to Tony's sound! STUNNING, inspiring and a joy to play!
No issues. Very clean. Rare and will only appreciate over the years.
