HERITAGE CHERRY SUNBURST ELECTRIC GUITAR The Gibson Les Paul Classic combines the early 1960s Les Paul model with some functional and time-tested modifications. As expected, the LP Classic is crafted with a mahogany back and maple top paired with a slim tapered mahogany neck and bound rosewood fingerboard. The Burstbucker 61R & 61T zebra open coil pickups offer classic Gibson sounds of the era with a little more punch thanks to the open coils. The control unit features 4 push-pull potentiometers offering coil tapping, phase switch and true bypass options for functional and versatile sonic variety. The ABR-1 Tune-o-matic bridge was devised by legendary Gibson President Ted McCarty in 1954, setting a standard of simplicity and functionality that has never been improved upon. The ABR-1 is inserted directly into the guitar body using a separate pin and wheel, providing a stable position for the strings and allowing players to adjust the pitch and pitch of the string in minutes. It also produces a great union between the strings and the body, which results in an excellent tone and a vintage sustain.
