What is a Martin Marquis? The Marquis like the custom shop and Golden Era line feature upgraded Adi tops, Adi bracing, nicer rosewood sides, cloth side strips inside, scalped bracing, hand voicing and are true to the original Martin 1934 specs. The Marquis line was discontinued some years back and was replaced by the Authentic like. These guitars lose the Adi top and use Sitka Spruce but gain the use of hide glue in construction.

This Marquis originally came from a collector so it was never played. The last year it's been in a private teaching studio, never gigged on outside and other then being played on teaching in a climate controlled smoke free studio it has less than 100hrs of use. There's very little fret ware and only minimal signs of use. Typical light strumming marks on the pick guard, and one tiny dent on the top. I tried having it show with various angles and lighting in the pics but un less your a few inches from the top you won't see it. Please no low ball offers my price is firm. Do a little research and find the differences between and OM-28, Marquis Om-28 and the Golden Era OM-28. Thanks for looking!
