Avalon L2 320B Spruce Indian Rosewood 2019

Although Avalon will always be related to Lowden and named in one single breath, they have certainly made a name for themselves and created a unique identity. Avalon guitars are instantly recognisable by their use of bridge pins instead of a string-through bridge, creating a bit more what would be best reffered to as 'americana tone' without losing the mysterious, deep, Celtic 'piano-like' character.

This L2 320B Custom is an extremely resonant, majestic sounding, grand piano like instrument with beautiful looks. It uses the "L", or Jumbo, body shape combining a beautiful spruce top with Indian rosewood back and sides. The ebony body binding and maple purfling on the fretboard are tasteful details that complete this amazing guitar.

Custom options on this guitar include the three specially designed bevels on the body. There is one where you would normally expect to see a cutaway, and another smaller one on the other side of the neck. This gives easier access to frets up the fingerboard whilst maintaining the full body appearance. The third is an armrest bevel greatly improving the playability of this large Jumbo. Another beautiful addition is the pearl inlay at the 12th fret.

This L2 320B is really clean. Only the top and back of the body have some very light traces of playwear. In excellent condition and comes in the original hardshell case with TFOA passport.
