We just got this pre-owned retro Monette MB-111 trumpet into the shop! This is on the lighter side for a Monette trumpet, inspired by the 1980s Chicago era Monettes (specifically serial number 111, made for Guy Barker of London); the weight is similar to the Monette XLT Plus, and about 1-2 oz lighter than the Chicago Monette trumpets. The MB-111 is a limited production trumpet from Monette, non-customized, and one of the their most affordable trumpets. The 5 1/8th-inch bell is smaller than most Monette bells.
The second valve slide has a dent (see photos). The horn is in raw brass which has developed a patina.
A Monette double trumpet case is included, but no mouthpiece.
Due to the price of this trumpet there will be no trials, all shipments are with final sale only. The trumpet WILL be available to try in our KC shop, so please come by and see us!
