1989 - 1990 Meriken Japan Thunderbird IV Medium Scale Cherry Red

Hello there,

up for grab real good replica of classic Thunderbird made by Meriken Japan on Fukuhara factory by Samick Corporation, according to information provided by Japanese collectors (bridge and all potentiometers have 'MADE IN JAPAN' stamp). These instruments were produced only for one year between 1989 and 1990 and most of them were replicas of non-usual instruments such as Gretsch, Rickenbacker etc. 

The instrument is in very good overall condition having some nicks and scrartches on body edges. Body of the instrument is pretty heavy and made of maple I guess. Set mahogany neck is thin and real comfortable to play. This bass guitar has medium scale measure (32 inches) and it doesn't have neck-dive like all the Gibsons do. 

Bass is equipped with two powerful full-size humbuckers framed with mirror frames in style of Japanese Epiphone Elitists. Fretboard still has most of its life. The instrument comes with good soft case.
