This is a wonderful and incredibly rare vintage guitar.
Opening the original hard case is like opening a time capsule.
This guitar is in near showroom condition and clearly has seen very little playing time!
It comes with the original guarantee card and is signed off by the guitar shop.
The model is recorded as a PE- R70, which I have not seen before. Sounds and plays way better than a vintage Gibson Les Paul.
In fact it is a Pe R60 but with a difference. It was fitted with Dimarzio Super Distortion pickups, which were not standard on this guitar - this was a special order from the factory.
Anyone is reading this will surely know the pedigree of these early 1980's Matsumoku guitars which were made in Japan by Matsumoku.
The build quality, finish and attention to detail is amazing.
It is a far more sophisticated instrument that a Gibson Les Paul and it plays better as well!
This is definitely a collector's piece, but if you are looking for better playing alternative to a Les Paul then look no further. Unique guitar and will only go up in value over the years.
It has been professionally set up by my guitar technician = plays and sounds great! Comes with original hard case.
