Dreadnought Acoustic Guitar
produced in Japan aroundthe 1970s
- about 110 cm total length, Scale approx 66cm (!)
- solid spruce top with multi-layer black / white binding and inlaid rings around the sound hole, with Hummingbird pickguard
- full size dreadnought Mahogany with binding, lower bout 40cm, center bout 27,5cm, upper bout 29,5cm, sides height 9,7mm-11,5mm
- totally straight mahogany neck with truss rod, headstock with Cimar decal, rosewood fretboard with radius and binding, block inlays + lateral grip aids, 20 frets + zero fret, original nut, width at nut 48mm
- original tuners
- original rosewood 6pin bridge, screwed, with hight-adjustable saddle
- original strap button
sticker inside: Craftsmen made CIMAR No 370-12 , Made in Japan 40950
The guitar is fully playable with good action (2,7mm (E1) at the 12th fret). The bridge seems to have been reglued once , there are some glue marks . The connection is bomb-proof and has NO affect on its playability or tune
The guitar is otherwise in good original condition with normal and signs of the time.The varnish shows up sractched in "Dedications" on headstock and the pickguard The fretboard shows very harmless igns of wear between the first two frets. The frets are showwing no signs of wear an dwer rounded and polished The fingerboard was cleaned and oiled
with new strings
