What's the deal with refurbished?
This instrument is stamped "used" on the back of the headstock and given a new serial number by the manufacturer-authorized refurbisher. Why? It was deemed to have a cosmetic imperfection or to need a repair. Check the description to see exactly why this instrument is considered refurbished. Squier's Vintage Modified Jazz Bass '70s returns you to a classic period in Jazz Bass history. Sporting two crisp-sounding Fender®-designed pickups and a slim "C"-shaped neck, it offers super '70s sound and feel for today's bassists, with superior Squier performance and value.
This particular instrument has some very light scratches at various places. We have included close up photos of each so you can take a look. Aside from what we have described, this instrument is in mint condition.
How Does It Play?
We don’t see many of these in the Candy Apple Red option! It’s a sharp looking bass. We have given it a thorough pro setup to make sure it is playing nice and easy without buzz. All electronics and hardware check out. It is ready to go!
