Altec 1566a Tube Microphone Pre Amp Modified From The Record Plant In NYC

I'm getting down to some small project pieces from the Record Plant in NYC. This is an Altec 1566a mic pre amp that I got from the Record Plant, I bought this with two others two were complete and had been modified by the Record and this one which hadn't been completed but was started. These were used in Studio A out in the live room for mic pre amps that could be used close to the microphones. The mods that were done were to improved the sonic quality and included a high quality Allen Bradley pot, a different pilot light, and various improvements in capacitors, Triad input and output transformers, and a meter that could be switched for input or output. Those were sold a while ago but I kept this as I was hoping to finish it. The other two that were complete sounded amazing, I've used a ton of these and these were light years better sounding. I would love to complete this and use it but I don't have the time and I need the space (no matter how small). This is a project that will take some work but is well worth finishing not to mention there is a lot of history behind this piece.
