For sale is a 1978 MIJ Ibanez Performer. Guitar has a maple neck, rosewood fretboard and a chambered ash body. Not sure of the top wood. I saw an old ad that says the tops are zebrawood on these natural finished ones.
Guitar has a lot of dings, scratches, and finish checking. It is in perfect playing condition though...plays and sounds great with a nice low action and no buzz. Has some fret wear but nothing that would need to be addressed anytime soon. Has guitar madness Alnico II pickups that sound great. All electronics work perfectly and these pots all have a great, even taper. The toggle switch is installed but seems to have never been wired up.
It's currently set up with GHS Gilmour 10s. comes with an SKB hardcase.
