Victory Amps The Deputy 25-Watt Guitar Amp Head, in Mint Condition, in Original BoxThis amp is in brand new condition and comes with all original accessories as shown in pics.i bought this a month ago new from a Victory dealer here on Reverb and it is a killer amp!i needed to have a comparo between the Sheriff 25 and the Deputy 25, the Sheriff suits my needs better.the Deputy is based on the Sheriff's "vintage" clean to crunch channel, it's mostly a marshall sound but it goes near the range of a fender also. The Deputy allows you to explore the clean to crunch area more than you could on a Sheriff because on the sheriff both channels share one eq section; for a studio this is no issue, but for live/practice it can become a challenge on the Sheriff;but i found i don't need to use all of that range the Deputy can do, and only need a simpler clean/crunch that i set and forget. The Deputy excels at all of that space between clean to crunch to mid-gain level of distortionand has a high degree of touch-sensitivity when you dig in vs playing softly.it has a built-in reverb that sounds great and seems to me to "duck" out of the way when playing, and has an effects loop.
