The Buchla & Tiptop Audio 257T Dual Voltage Model is a faithful recreation of the Model 257 Dual Control Voltage Processor first developed by Don Buchla. Staying true to the original design, the 257T allows you to attenuate, offset and invert signals over a 10V range. Regarded as somewhat of a mysterious module, the original was renowned for its unique modulation capabilities and mathematical-based architecture. It is the perfect module for creating complex patches, allowing you to dictate your sound at every step.Comprised of two identical sections, the 257T utilises an intricate algebraic equation to dictate the way your control voltages are processed. With three distinct controls on each section, you can control panning and even crossfade between Vb and/or Vc. The 257T truly puts you in the driving seat allowing you to do everything from shift sequences up/down the voltage range, invert them and much more. No matter what your system looks like, the 257T is a must-have for any serious sound designer.
