In 2004, to mark the company's 30th anniversary, Taylor released a small number of special models that combined selected exotic tonewoods of the highest quality, sophisticated features, and first-class craftsmanship.This Taylor 714-L30 comes with the time-honored tonewood combination of solid Indian rosewood and Sitka spruce, which together produce a versatile tone rich in harmonic texture and crystalline overtones, and in combination with the specially forward-shifted X bracing inside, provide fantastic volume and sustain. It is truly one of the most beautiful Grand Auditorium acoustic guitars Taylor has ever built!In terms of playability, a medium-width “C”-shaped neck profile and 44.5mm TUSQ nut ensure excellent playability.
