About this listing
This LG-2 from Gibson's Custom Shop combines the familiar specifications of this beloved small-bodied model with the inlays of the Advanced Jumbo, resulting in a stunning guitar with a unique look! Thanks to its compact size, the LG-2 body shape is incredibly comfortable to play; whether you are sitting on the couch at home or performing on stage, the LG-2 allows you to effortlessly create music that will inspire both you and your audience. This smaller Gibson model sits between the J-45 and the L-00, offering a comfortable playing experience paired with a highly responsive, balanced sound, perfect for both strumming and fingerstyle. It is no wonder this model remains a favorite among singer-songwriters; the combination of mahogany and Adirondack spruce provides the ideal accompaniment for your voice!Adirondack (or Red) spruce is prized for its exceptional tonal qualities, lending this guitar a balanced sound characterized by clear articulation across the strings and a solid bass foundation. The wood imbues the instrument with immense resonance, resulting in a tone that is immediate, expansive, and voluminous, making it as striking to the ear as it is to the eye. With mahogany back and sides, along with top bracing secured using hot hide glue for enhanced tonal response, this LG-2 delivers a balanced, rich sound with remarkable clarity and projection. This 2025 LG-2 features a very small dent on the top, near the armrest area. There is also a small dent on the back of the neck, and a shallow scratch on the lower bout near the output jack. Furthermore, the matte finish has become somewhat glossy on the pickguard, but the guitar is exceptionally clean. It is also equipped with an LR Baggs VTC pickup for a fantastic amplified sound, and you can take the guitar on the road with peace of mind in the included hardshell case. This guitar has been carefully inspected for condition and playability, then set up to our Gold Standard by a luthier. We make sure it arrives in your hands exactly as it should: sounding its best, playing effortlessly and ready to be enjoyed from the very first note.photos of: Actual Instrument
