The LTD Volsung is the signature guitar for Lars Frederiksen of iconic punk band Rancid. Taking its cues from ESP Viper body style, which is an SG-style design, the Volsung has an angular but streamlined look to its mahogany body and three-piece neck. The guitar features Lars’ signature passive EMG pickup arrangement, the LF-DMF (Lars Fredriksen-Dirty Middle Fingers), inspired by the classic passive “Dirty Fingers” humbucker pickups. For those players looking for that distorted punk guitar punch, the search ends here.
