About this listing
Boss GE-7 Graphic Equalizer Made in Japan in 1986. This Pedal, although brilliant, suffered from High Gain noise.I have carried out what I call my 'Silencio' silent mod. 4 IC sockets with caddies, 3 with NE5532 low noise Op Amps and 1 with a Very Pricey, genuine Burr Brown OPA2134PA. All the Caps in the signal path have ungraded to high quality audiophile Caps (MMLC, Poly Box Film Caps and Nichicon Muse High Fidelity BP Capacitors. This means the there is minimum background noise created by the pedal. The pedal can therefore be used as a Graphic Clean Boost, enhancing certain EQ bands or all of them if you wish. The pedal now can also be powered via DC centre negative adaptor from 9 up to 18v. Also has had a Blue status LED installed. The seller is located in Northern Ireland, a trade member of the EU trade agreement, which means purchases do not have to clear customs in other European member countries, no customs import charges will apply to the buyer, however local Value added tax may be applicable.Delivery to the UK is unaffected and there will be no custom or VAT duties applicable to the buyer. Also, contact me if you prefer an expedited delivery service or you would like a quote for delivery to your location.I will pay all Import Customs and Duties due to buyers in the USA in advance.
