Hello I put on sale this Ibanez RG750 finish Ruby Red made in Japan:
Model manufactured in the late 80s, early 90s in Fujigen factories in Japan. It was during this time that Ibanez experienced his golden age of their Superstrats.
The RG750 marked the top of the range of the RG series, it had the highest level of finish before that of the JEM. Its little sister being the RG550, model more affordable and very famous for its quality but a small notch below the RG7xx due to its pickups less good than its big sister.
This model came out of the factory with Ibanez USA pickups, a pickguard, an HSH configuration, a Floyd Rose Edge tremolo and an original Wizard neck.
The catalogues showed them at around $1,000 to $1,100 when they were new in the 1980s to 1990s.
This model is original except the replacement of the bridge pickup for a DiMarzio by the former owner. (I do not own the original)
The guitar presents well for its age, it nevertheless presents marks of use in particular on the body: some scratches, the varnish which is gone a few places and micro-scratches on the pickguard.
I tried to make these defects appear on the photos as well as possible.
Its color is beautiful and presents differently depending on the light scattered on it.
I sell it for 550€.
