The Schaller 456 bridge/tailpiece was made during the 70's-80's in Germany. These are finely made bridges that function as straight on replacements for your regular Gibson style bridge. This particular model was made famous by Tony Iommi, as he uses this exact bridge on his "Old Boy" SG guitars, custom made by Jaydee. The 456's are now sadly discontinued and extremely hard to find. If you're looking at this listing, you already know about these babies!
This particular unit is in excellent condition and working perfectly. Everything on it is original from the 70's, the brass saddles are in great condition and unmodified. Chrome construction with brass saddles, amazing sustain and tone! Germans know how to do it right.
If you're simply looking for a super fine replacement for your tune-o-matic or a very specific "Old Boy" project, this one's for you. You just won't find any other around here!
I have shipped overseas recently without any issues (safe, quick shipping through Fedex), the pedal will be professionally packaged!
