For sale is a truly rare bird; an early-mid 1970’s Polytone 102 1x12 Jazz guitar combo amp. Favored by the legendary Joe Pass, these are one of the greatest rivals to the early Roland Jazz Chorus amps, featuring a beautiful clean tone facilitated by a simple, yet versatile two-band preamp with switchable high-pass, band-pass, and low-pass filter on both channels. The amp also features a beautiful sounding Vibrato and Spring Reverb on the FX channel, and a unique switchable Room EQ mode on the back which helps with the issues of too much bass response and overly saturated reverb in a live room scenario.
