Beautiful Maton MasterSound MS2000 Deluxe. Made in 2001. Everyone who sees this guitar stops and says, "Wow". Everyone who HEARS this guitar stops and says, "Wow".
MS2000 DLX is a solid-bodied double cut electric guitar made by the legendary Maton Guitars in Australia. MS in it's name stands for Mastersound. This Deluxe Mastersound comes with body made of QLD Maple, and a beautifully flamed Rock Maple tone cap that turns heads for its looks, and its unbelievable sustain. It has a carved top and triple white binding around the body
The neck on this model is absolutely perfect. The finish feels unbelievably smooth and silky under your hand. It is made of rock maple and features a set-in joint. This combination of rock maple and the set-neck construction ensure your tone resonates throughout the whole body and neck of the guitar making it sing for days. On top sits a 21-fret fingerboard made of rosewood. Block-shaped Mother of Pearl inlays and 12" radius complete the fingerboard.
Headstock sports a set of six vintage Kluson style tuners in three-a-side arrangement.
Pickups are mini humbuckers which sound epic. They also feature coil splitting through push/pull switches installed on the Tone knobs which let you go to single coil sounds at the flick of a switch! The three-way toggle switch also gives you the flexibility to switch between humbucker and single coil sounds, or even to combine the two in the middle position. The versatility is awesome!
The classy original Maton hardshell case completes the experience of this timeless instrument.
