Up for grabs is a vintage Kawai K1 digital synthesizer
in great shape with a few small scratches, but cosmetically an
8/10...The synth is in perfect working order and sounds fantastic! It
does not come with the original power adapter, but the replacement works
just fine.
This is the original K1, which many people prefer to the later versions...It is somewhat basic in appearance, but when you learn to program it, they synth is capable of sonic landscapes galore!
The K1 has 256 digital samples of waveforms, 50 of which are from acoustic instruments. You combine up to four wave shapes to create very new and unique sounds. The K1 is capable of very good acoustic recreation, excellent unique synth sounds or at times, completely noisy walls of complex sound...I used this synth in my studio over the years, and it is a very versatile machine...Really nice synth with some amazing sounds!
