About this listing
Schecter Banshee GT FR Electric Guitar Satin Trans Blue B-Stock 2209
The Banshee GT FR is a high-output modern shredder built for aggressive playing and precision vibrato work. Its combination of EMG 81/60 electronics, Floyd Rose Special 'Hot Rod' locking tremolo, and ultra-fast neck profile makes it equally capable in metal, progressive rock, and technical styles where tuning stability and upper-fret access matter. This B-stock unit carries only cosmetic marks—including fret binding cracks and a small ding—with zero impact on playability or tone, offering substantial savings over standard retail pricing.
Electronics & Vibrato Performance
The EMG 81 bridge and EMG 60 neck pickups deliver high-output clarity and articulation with controlled dynamics via volume, tone, and 3-way selector. The Floyd Rose Special 'Hot Rod' locking tremolo with locking nut maintains tuning stability through aggressive vibrato work, supported by the 1.625" nut width for secure string alignment.
Neck & Fretboard Design
The 3-piece maple neck with carbon fiber reinforcement rods and ultra-thin "U" shape deliver fast, responsive action and excellent stability. 24 X-Jumbo frets on an ebony fretboard with 14" radius provide precision intonation and smooth bending, while set-neck construction with ultra access ensures effortless reach to higher positions across the 25.5" scale.
