About this listing
MIJ Heritage 60s JAZZBASS with fretless & epoxy coated finish, a special one finished for a special player. The thickness of the epoxy coating is approximately 1.5mm, as if following the Jaco coating. The thickness of this coating creates a unique neck and string "ring" and a slightly slower rise than the usual thin coating. It has a vocal-like appeal. It shows signs of having been used on numerous stages, and a number of spec scratches and dings can be seen. The dot on the side of the neck (sticker can be removed) was put on by the previous owner so that the position can be seen even when the stage is dark. An external gig case is included.
