Up for sale is a beautiful 1981 Fender Bullet Deluxe, in excellent shape and fully functional. This is a particularly nice example of Fender's Bullet series from the early 1980s.Despite being more than 40 years old, it looks almost new, with only a handful of really small cosmetic marks and signs of use. The Bullet Deluxe has a compact body, giving it a feel somewhere between a Mustang and a Telecaster. It is incredibly light, comfortable and easy to play, while still delivering a surprisingly full and distinctive Fender sound.The guitar has two original USA-made Fender pickups, which sound fantastic. They have plenty of clarity, character and attack, with a surprisingly strong sound for such a compact instrument.The neck has a very comfortable soft-V profile, with a nice wood grain and a dark rosewood fingerboard. The guitar sounds great up an down the fretboard, with no buzzing or unwanted noise. The frets still have plenty of life left an the electronics work as intended. There are only a couple of minor things to note: there's a small hole on the opposite upper horn, where a strap button had previously been installed, and the saddle screws on the bridge have been replaced with new ones.
