Overview
The E-II GB-4 is one of ESP’s most stylish electric basses. Like all instruments in the E-II series, the GB-4 was created at ESP’s Tokyo factory, which means it was designed with professionals in mind. With its asymmetrical black ash body, maple top, and pickguard offset by a much lighter maple fingerboard, it has something of a post-punk vibe. But since this is a professional bass, with Seymour Duncan SSB passive pickups and Seymour Duncan’s STC-3M3 3-Band EQ, the depth of sonic control will sit well with players across genres.
