The Grover 505 Roto-Grip Locking Mini Rotomatics Tuners 6 In-Line Right Handed make string changes easier and have the attachment screw offset downwards which results in a compact tuner size (as used by Gibson on some of their Firebird and Explorer guitars).Grover Rotomatics are famous for revolutionising guitar tuners when they were first introduced, improving tuning accuracy, adjustability and durability and these are an improvement still with a 1:18 gear ratio. The sealed tuners are lubricated for life with no maintenance necessary and a threaded collar around the base of the string post for the screw in bushing supports the string post. This locking six in line set features a thumbscrew mechanism to lock the string into place, allowing for quick string changes. To operate, insert the string through the post hole, wrap around once, then lock it in place by tightening with the thumb screw.
