Originally bought from the Gibson factory online in 2011. All internal components are stock (pickup and electronics.) Over the years I replaced cosmetic pieces like the pickup cover, the pick guard, tone knobs, truss rod cover is a metal replacement. The strap buttons were replaced with Dunlop ones as well as a repair was made to the top strap button you can see in the 6th photo. The top string nut was replaced with I believe a bone one.I do not have any of the original cosmetic pieces I replaced. While this is a customized and well played instrument, it is still fully functional. The double stack H-90 pick up roars like a freight train.I believe the tone knob has a scratchy pot internally but that’s due to age and nothing that I personally tinkered with. Still plays great, hate to part with it but I just don’t have any use for it in my current guitar rotation. Would be great for a touring guitar or a studio piece. For the hardcore GreenDay fans, I’m sure you could reassemble the cosmetic pieces to stock for under $50.I’ve played this instrument for years in all sorts of tunings, current set up with some heavier strings for drop C stuff.It’s well worn but Gibson makes guitars that last lifetimes.Open to fair offers, but this one has retained its value well.Also would love to save us both money on shipping if you are near upstate South Carolina!
