Very Good condition, 7,5/10, Made in USA, including non-original black hardcase with black interior, very late ´73 Strat, introduced in 1973, the Mocha Brown color was always paired with a black pickguard, but it wasn’t until 1975 that Fender standardized all-black plastic hardware, one replaced pot (from 1982), replaced 5-way switch, comes with the original inspection card which has the numbers 48-4-3 (week, year, day)
Neck stamped with the code system used 1972-1980; 09034233 which means 09=Stratocaster / 03=fretted maple neck / 48=week of the year / 3=1973 / 4=4thday of the week, 3-bolt neck.
Square pickup routes and worm rout (typical of 1969-1973), refretted and refinished fretboard, staggered black bottom pickups typical of late ´73/ early ´74 with black and white plastic cables (from the fall of 1974 the poles were all flat), replaced tuners (now chrome Schallers with visible filled holes from the old tuners),the inspection card is included and is signed Week 48-3-4 which we interpret as the same number as is stamped on the neck, Thursday week 48 of 1973, original black pickguard, the 2 original pots are dated 1377337 (week 37 of 1973)
