About this listing
Evans Orchestral 300 Snare Side 14-inch Drumhead
The 14-inch Evans Orchestral 300 Snare Side uses a single 3mil textured film layer for sensitive resonant snare response. It responds to delicate press rolls and fast, articulate sticking across orchestral dynamics.
The textured resonant surface works with coiled wire, cable, gut, nylon and mixed snare strands. The 3mil film balances body, depth and sensitivity through louder passages, with moderate sustain and an open tone useful for studio work and brush playing. Level 360 supports even seating and a broad tuning range.
