Unlike other modern smaller-bodied acoustics, the Delta 00’s quarter-sawn, hand-sanded scalloped bracing is shifted back (away from the sound hole), staying true to the traditional designs of the time. The result is a slightly compressed throwback tone, but with modern output and projection that lends itself well to both fingerpicking and flatpicking, in standard or alternate tunings. The brilliant high-gloss finish really shows off the beauty of the mahogany back andsides.
