Walrus Audio has always been a favorite of boost and overdrive connoisseurs. With the new Warhorn, they add another mid-range flavor to their menu.
The four-knob overdrive - Level, Drive, Bass, Treble - is being billed as transparent, with a toggle switch that allows for either symmetrical or asymmetrical clipping, depending on how compressed or open you want your breakup.
If Walrus Audio's recent Messner overdrive is any indication, the Warhorn should live up its claim of being transparent. We're eager to hear the clipping modes.
The price point is set at $199, with an official release on March 14th.
