Overview
The Kramer Pacer Imperial is the core dual-humbucker Pacer model, typically identified by its HH pickup layout, one volume, two tone controls, three-way selector, and lack of a Strat-style pickguard. Compared with the Pacer Deluxe and later Custom I and II, the Imperial is the straightforward two-humbucker model; compared with the early Pacer Custom, the Imperial is more closely associated with Kramer’s early locking tremolo evolution, including ESP Flicker, Rockinger, and later Floyd Rose-equipped examples depending on year.
