This Sony turntable from 1973 is a stunning example of craftsmanship, presented in incredible condition. The timber veneer is of the highest quality, with a near flawless finish that is both beautiful and timeless. The original dust cover remains in great shape, showing only minor scuffs. This piece is a true classic, offering both exceptional aesthetics and functionality.
This is one of the prettiest turntables I have ever owned.
This turntable has undergone a professional restoration and alignment.
Works completed -
- Replace electrolytic capacitors on speed control pcb
- Contact clean all switches and potentiometers
- Align tone arm and set to owners manual specs
- Head shell and cartridge aligned
Comes with original Sony head shell and Shure cartridge/stylus.
The AT head shell and Nagaoka cartridge is my personal set up and will not be sold with this turntable.
This is the Japanese version of the PS 2250 and is a 100v 50/60hz model. Voltage converter will need to be used in Europe. Please contact me for options, if needed.
Please message for a video. I have it currently connected with a Sansui 777D and Tannoy DC 200's - a beautiful sounding combo.
