About This Listing

Here's a 1970s or '80s-era Royce electric guitar in good playing condition. This is an extremely rare guitar with very little info available on it out there. But it rips! Most likely made in Japan in the Matsumoku factory, which is known for making some of the finest Japanese guitars of the era, this one is equipped with a rippin' pair of what we believe to be DiMarzio pickups with coil tap switch, vol/vol/tone/tone controls, a comfy maple neck with neck-thru construction, string-thru hardtail bridge for maximum sustain. Has five Gibson tuners and one Sperzel that get the job done just fine. It has cosmetic wear throughout, including some normal fretwear and a small dent on the back of the neck that you can feel with your hand but doesn't noticeably affect playability (see photos). All in all, this no-name guitar is a serious player, with excellent build quality, smooth playability, and heavenly tones. Very cool! Freshly set up in our shop and playing great. Does not include a case/gig bag or other accessories, but check out our shop online or get in touch directly if you'd like to add anything to your order.
