Two Notes is one of the pioneers when it comes to first-class direct recording - the Torpedo Captor X is the French company's final stroke. The small box combines several features needed for stress-free recording with a tube amp: Reactive Load Box, Powersoak and IR Loader with extensive software connectivity, including effects and microphone simulations. The overall sound can be edited with a parametric EQ and an exiter, when necessary a noise gate provides silence in the box. The Captor X has 2 outputs that can be used either as stereo L/R or as individual outputs with different basic settings (e. g. one way into the FOH console and the other into recording equipment).
