About this listing
Up for sale is this vintage 1970's Vox Escort (BM1) guitar amplifier. We were super excited to see this little guy, Vox's answer to the busker and practice crowd, come through the door...This amplifier appears to be all original but we are not experts on these amplifiers, so gut shots are included. Cosmetically, it is in very nice condition although it does show some light wear around the edges, including a few scuffs on the original tolex. It has been tested and everything works (we do not have the proper battery, so only the wall current was tested but we have no reason to believe it wouldn't work properly with the proper battery installed) as it should although the original speaker is sounding a little tired at higher volume and could stand to be replaced or reconed. Please note that this is the 220V version, so an adapter will be needed for use in the US. For its size, it's pretty darn powerful and it's immediately clear as to why these are sought-after because it actually sounds great. As always with vintage electronics, assume this amplifier will need to be serviced by a reputable tech to unleash its full potential.Since it's a 40+ year old amplifier, it's offered "AS IS" and "AS FOUND" with no warranty or guarantee. It will be well-packed to ensure safe shipping. Please be sure to check out our other listings for more great items!THE FINE PRINT: Most of our items are used/vintage. That being said, all sales are FINAL and we do not offer returns. We only ship within the US. We do NOT make exceptions to this rule. We do not accept online trades. Please check our feedback and buy with confidence. If you have any questions, feel free to contact us.
