About this listing
Strandberg Boden Original NX 8 – Natural Quilted Maple | Headless 8-String Multiscale The Boden Original NX 8 takes everything that made Strandberg famous and refines it: headless, lightweight, ergonomic, and seriously modern. It's built to play low and heavy, but it's versatile enough for almost anything you throw at it.Why this one stands outPlayability: Set up and playing beautifully. Low action, smooth, effortless. The 26.5"–28" multiscale gives tight, defined lows on the 8th string and comfortable tension on the trebles. The string tension on this one feels just right.EndurNeck profile: Strandberg's signature asymmetric neck shape fits your hand naturally and reduces fatigue over long sessions.Headless and lightweight: Perfectly balanced, no neck dive, and easy on the shoulders. Great for long gigs and practice sessions, and for anyone tired of hauling a heavy 8-string around.Stunning quilted maple top: A natural quilt that really comes alive under light.Tones: a metal machine that does much moreThe Fishman Fluence Modern active humbuckers (Alnico neck, Ceramic bridge) deliver tight, articulate high-gain tones with no mud on the low F#. They also have far more range than typical actives:3-way pickup selectorPush/pull volume for coil splitPush/pull tone for Fishman's second voicingSpecsModel: Strandberg Boden Original NX 8Finish: Natural Quilted MapleBody: Chambered body, solid maple top with quilted maple veneerNeck: Quartersawn maple, carbon fiber reinforced, EndurNeck profileFretboard: Birdseye maple, Luminlay glow-in-the-dark side dots and inlaysScale: 26.5" – 28" multiscale (fanned frets)Bridge: Strandberg EGS Rev7 fixed bridge with string locksPickups: Fishman Fluence Modern Alnico (neck) / Ceramic (bridge), activeControls: Volume (push/pull coil split), Tone (push/pull voice 2), 3-way selectorConditionVery good condition.
