About this listing
A guitar that embodies the ultimate in simplicity with a light, rock-inspired feel This 2007 Gibson USA Melody Maker is a model whose appeal lies in its extremely simple configuration: a single-cutaway body with a single single-coil pickup in the bridge position. It features a lightweight, easy-to-handle mahogany body and neck, along with the direct tone characteristic of a wrap-around bridge, faithfully reproducing the nuances of your picking. The custom single-coil pickup has a bright, crisp character distinct from the P-90. It stands out for the edgy attack and clear projection typical of a bridge-position pickup, allowing you to enjoy a lively, slightly raw rock sound when playing from crunch to drive. Unlike the so-called gGibson toneh that emphasizes thickness, this modelfs sound balance focuses on speed and clarity. Additionally, with its relatively thin body and rough-textured finish, this guitar is easygoing both in appearance and handling. Its minimalist design, stripped of unnecessary embellishments, allows you to fully focus on the act of playing itself. Itfs a model that embodies the quintessential charm of the Melody Maker?a simple yet distinctly characterful instrument. The back of the neck shows some wear from use.
